 Project Overview
The Climate-Smart Forest Management Initiative represents one of Europe’s most comprehensive approaches to adapting forest ecosystems for climate resilience while maximizing carbon sequestration potential.
Objectives
- Develop climate-adaptive forest management protocols
- Create predictive models for forest carbon dynamics
- Establish demonstration sites across Nordic countries
- Transfer knowledge to forest practitioners and policymakers
